Local charm, privacy and a wonderful swimming pool. This lovely newly built holiday home is located in Sopot near Benkovac. in the hinterland of Zadar called Ravni Kotari. This area is famous for its great wine, stone production and agriculture. With an amazing private swimming pool, villa Katalea can comfortably accommodate a group of up to 4 persons. Zadar with its famous old town is reachable in half an hour drive and the nearest beach, located in Pakostane, is only 15 km away.
Your holiday home which is built from locally produced materials consists of a fully equipped kitchen connected to the dining area, a bright living room with a double sofa bed, a modern bathroom and a bedroom which features 2 single beds and has direct access to the amazing outside area. There you will find your fully fenced courtyard where you can enjoy a swim in your private swimming pool. Great traditional stone barbecue facilities are available and you also have a covered terrace with seating area next to the pool. For kids, a trampoline is provided.

The nearest sandy beach can be found in Pakostane which is reachable in only a 15 minute car drive. Nature park Lake Vrana is located just 10 km from your villa, while National Park Krka can be reached in a short half an hour drive. This makes for a perfect location to explore the nearby coast and the rest of this amazing region.

We had an amazing stay here. The house had everything we needed and more! Warm welcome and good and fast communication with the host , beautifull outside area with an outside kitchen and pool. We would definitely recommend and visit it again.

This place is very nice - perfect for sunny weather as the pool is gorgeous - you definitely need a car if you’re staying here as the nearest towns aren’t walkable and public transport/taxis are minimal, but it’s only half an hour into Zadar. I wouldsee more

An Absolute Gem – We Can’t Wait to Come Back! We just wrapped up an incredible week at this amazing villa, and it was everything we hoped for and more! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. We got in later than expected, but the host was super flexible and made check-in a breeze. They even had a light dinner waiting for us since it was late and we couldn’t find a place to eat – such a kind touch! The villa was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We spent most of our time by the gorgeous pool, soaking up the sun and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The location is fantastic – just a quick drive to Zadar and about an hour from Split, so it’s perfect for exploring the area while still having a serene place to retreat to. At check out the host gifted us a bottle of their homemade olive oil, which was so sweet and unexpected. We honestly couldn’t recommend this place more. Thank you for everything— see you next time :)
