The interior of your pet friendly holiday home consists of 4 spacious air-conditioned bedrooms, 4 modern bathrooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens, 2 living/dining rooms and a game room where you can play billiards, table tennis, foosball or shoot darts. Mosquito nets are present all around the property, plenty of gated parking space is provided for your vehicles and the ground floor is wheelchair accessible. Outside, in the carefully maintained garden you'll find your heated swimming pool, a sauna, a jacuzzi, an outdoor gym, 2 covered terraces, a traditional stone barbecue, another full bathroom and a small kitchen, bicycles, a sun shower, a dining table ideal for enjoying your meals in the open, a lounge set, a sun shower and a sufficient number of sunbeds for everyone staying at the property. A grocery store is just around the corner, as well as a café bar. Zadar with its famous old town can be reached in a short 20-25 minute car drive. There you can stroll through its charming narrow streets, visit beautiful churches and interesting museums or have dinner at one of its great restaurants.

Enclosed by high walls on all sides and with no direct neighbors, the villa offers a peaceful and secluded setting where you can fully relax and enjoy your holiday. Situated in the historic part of the village and carefully renovated, the property only has a Benedictine monastery at the rear. Although no one lives there, the monastery is regularly maintained, adding a sense of history and timeless charm to the surroundings.
Villa Granar also carries a unique historical detail connected to Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria-Hungary. During his journey around Dalmatia in 1875, the Emperor passed through Smilčić. According to family tradition, he stayed at the estate where Villa Granar stands today. Whie visiting, he sat at the stone table found in the heart of the property. More than 150 years later, the table still stands in its original place, preserving a small but remarkable piece of the estate’s history and identity.
